1000 people move to Queensland from interstate every week.

But industry leaders say it is a good problem!

ABS data shows that the number of people moving to Queensland is at record levels, with net migration of 54,000 people in this year to March, most of them to the Southeast corner.

SE Queensland Councils are guided by the Shaping SEQ blueprint, so housing supply is to the forefront when it comes to population growth.

All these people need a place to live so the demand for newly built housing will remain.
