It’s particularly interesting to quantify undersupply:
♦ Australia has 411 dwellings for every 1,000 people.
♦ Greece and Italy, that figure is over 550 dwellings for every 1,000people.
♦ Spain, Germany, and Finland have over 500 dwellings for every 1,000
people.
♦ The average in the OECD - Housing Market group of 38 country
economies is 468 dwellings per 1,000 people.
These numbers really put into context that Australia needs to build more dwellings!
